Uptight & Personal March 2nd – Laters . . .

3 03 2010

Dawn comes around to cook me supper as she was worried about my somewhat dour Facebook chat earlier brought about by meeting with Nick.

Ask Dawn about progress of pre-nup with Bob. No progress. This unfair! Think about it from Dawn’s point of view. She comes from a Third World country – Yorkshire. Then she meets this guy who tells her he loves her and dangles the trappings of First World wedding rituals in front of her – the marriage sack, her own plough, a home with not only a separate room for the cow but also one for her horse. Who would not love a Prince bearing such gifts? But then – disaster. Unless she signs the pre-nup there is no marriage sack and what’s more, if the marriage goes bung she not only does not get to keep the plough but she, the cow and the horse will be out on the street. The readers of this blog have already made their feelings on this subject very clear. Bob had better throw in the plough.
